Narendra Modi Launches Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojna

Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned in his speech during the MUDRA Yojna launch that while big companies generate employment of 1 crore 25 lakh, smaller firms generate up to 12 crore employment opportunities for the people in India. It is therefore now a necessity to increase the number of small entrepreneurs in the country by encouraging them with not just moral support but also better financial facilities. PM Modi believes that it is these small entrepreneurs who can collaborate to grow the economy of the nation. This is the sole reason for the launch of the Prime Minister’s most recent initiative, Pradhan Mantri MUDRA (Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency).
This “Yojana” has been launched under the banner of SIDBI, and Modi claims that this yojna shall be adopted by all banks in India within a period of 1 year. Narendra Modi almost spoke like he used to while he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, and stressed on the point that young entrepreneurs need to stop taking money from money lenders at high interest rates and the Indian Government should come up with schemes to fund these young minds. He believes in the power of young people to change the future of the nation.
