Bengaluru FC’s rapid rise in the social media spectrum isn’t a surprise. Their fanatical fan base sings through the roof at the KSFA, the team seems to be getting better everyday and the results are reflecting the development. The Bengaluru FC Facebook page has already gaining a massive following of 62, 793.
The Federation Cup and BFC’s smooth progress through the group and knockout stages has seen increased Twitter activity of the official Bengaluru FC account, who’s reach is significantly lesser than the corresponding Facebook account. The festive period along with the pre-tournament and Federation Cup buzz has warranted increased attention and activity in and around BFC Twitter circles.
Different platforms have seen the use of Twitter to connect BFC to its ever enthusiastic fan base. These platforms are essential as majority of the potential fan base are not as active on Twitter as they are on Facebook.
Most of the negative tweets revolved around the AIFF’s decision to not telecast the BFC vs Shillong and the BFC vs Salgaocar games which lead to an outburst on Twitter.

Apologies if we haven’t been able to recap goals for you. It’s simply because we can’t afford to take our eyes off this game! #BFCvSAL 3-2
The re-tweets were largely centered around the sub-continent.
