Radamel Falcao may still have his work cut out for him when it comes to proving himself to United boss Louis Van Gaal, but the Columbian hit man at least has his humanitarian priorities in order.
Falcao fans went gaga over their hero as his efforts to save a Columbian teenager incidentally related to him, bore fruit.
On learning that his distant relative, a teenager named John Andres Uyaban was in a desperate need of a heart transplant and was on the waiting list for 2 years, “El Tigre” took to social media ie. Facebok to put up this message :”Help us get a new heart for John Andres, a 17-year-old kid with all the desire to keep fighting.”
10 days later, the family of John Andres learnt that their kid would indeed be given a lifeline to  face the ordeal as he did receive a donor.
Sara Fernandez, the mother of John Andres spoke to the media and confirmed that her son underwent the surgery successfully and was  recovering at the Bucaramanga Cardiovascular foundation in Northern Columbia.
Falcao took to Facebook again to thank his fans.
